为隆重庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年，展现我国住房保障工作取得的辉煌成就，由中央广播电视总台、住房和城乡建设部联合摄制的四集系列专题片《安居中国》，10月8日起在中央电视台综合频道黄金时段播出。
A four-episode documentary series featuring China's achievements on housing supply and support began airing on a prime-time slot starting Tuesday. The series, jointly produced by China Media Group and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, can be watched on China Central Television.

从廉租房到公租房，从经济适用住房到共有产权住房，改革开放以来，尤其是党的十八大以来，党中央、国务院高度重视住房保障工作，不断推进住房保障体系建设，努力为住房困难群众织就一张多元化供给、多渠道保障的住房保障网。
1994年至2007年，全国共建设廉租住房、经济适用住房等保障性住房1000多万套。自2008年大规模实施保障性安居工程以来，到2018年底，全国城镇保障性安居工程合计开工约7000万套，约2亿困难群众圆了安居梦，增强了获得感、幸福感、安全感。2018年，我国城镇人均住房建筑面积达到39平方米，比1949年的8.3平方米增加了3.7倍。
